Pre-Birth to Three Guidelines
Pre-Birth to Three: Positive Outcomes for Scotland’s Children and Families, is the Scottish Government’s document used as guidance for all those involved in caring for babies and young children.
The 4 key principals of effective practice are Relationships, Responsive Care, Respect and Rights of the Child. Within Acorn Park we strive to achieve this through sensitivity, respectful approaches and by ensuring positive relationships with all our babies, children and their families.
Glasgow City Council’s Document, Guidelines for Planning for Under Threes is used at Acorn Park in conjunction with the Pre-Birth to Three Document thereby covering all aspects of your child’s developing needs.
